Chery UK × Soccer Aid: Driving Change Together

CHERY UK partnered with Soccer Aid for UNICEF’s 2026 campaign, supporting the world’s biggest charity football match. The event brought together celebrities and football legends at London Stadium, uniting fans to raise a total of £16,462,353 for UNICEF.

As the Official Car Partner, Chery UK was involved throughout the campaign, from dealership events to online activations leading up to the 20th-anniversary match on 31st May 2026. Whilst the match has concluded, our work with UNICEF continues through a new summer initiative.

The match at London Stadium drew a 70,000-strong crowd. The line-up featured event founder Robbie Williams, alongside Tom Hiddleston, Wayne Rooney, Damson Idris, Owen Cooper, GK Barry, Usain Bolt, Angry Ginge, Jordan North, Joe Marler, Olly Murs, Paddy McGuinness, Big Zuu, Tom Grennan, Richard Gadd, Maisie Adam, and Gladiator Nitro.

On the pitch, England’s frontline, featuring Theo Walcott and Soccer Aid’s all-time leading goalscorer Jermain Defoe, lined up against a World XI defence that included Leonardo Bonucci and debutant Jordi Alba.

A Partnership Built on Making a Difference

The momentum started at half-time, when 60,000 fans inside the stadium joined together for Chery’s ‘Clap for Every Child’ matchday moment. We are now turning that energy into direct, practical support where it is needed most.

Our commitment to UNICEF continues throughout the summer. Every single TIGGO model sold between June and September 2026 drives a £10 donation from Chery UK directly to Soccer Aid for UNICEF. We have already locked in a guaranteed minimum contribution of £200,000. Furthermore, thanks to match funding from The Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), this donation will be doubled, meaning the initiative will generate at least £400,000 to support vital work for children and families globally.
